These Affinity-Purified Secondary Antibodies are pepsin digested under optimum conditions to produce the F(ab')₂ fragments. Contaminating IgG, Fab, and Fc fragments are removed by chemical- and immuno-adsorption. F(ab')₂ fragments make ideal immunoreagents by eliminating non-specific binding of antibodies through the Fc portion of the IgG molecule.
